Hi, I'm Kyle DuFrene, a robotics graduate student.

A little about me

I am currently a Masters student studying Robotics at Oregon State University, under the direction of Dr. Cindy Grimm. I recently graduated in June of 2022 with an Honors Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from OSU.

My primary research focus is robotic grasping and manipulation. In grasping, I am currently exploring novel sensor implementations for in-hand sensing. For more info about completed work and publications, see the Publications section.

I enjoy solving problems and working with complete systems that integrate hardware with electrical and software. Outside of education and research, my hobbies include soccer, biking, ultimate frisbee, and 3D printing.
